"Just the guy behind a camera"

Hi, my name’s Jack. My passion has always involved Photography & Cinematography. Later in life, I was given cameras of my own and the rest writes itself.

All my life I’ve grown up around cameras and photography, I guess it's in my DNA (On my Dad's side?). From a very early age, I was always taking pictures to document my experiences. I started with those Kodak Disposable Cameras (You know the ones...) taking them everywhere; School Trips, Family Trips, etc. getting a feel for framing and contrast. As I got older, I was introduced to DSLRs and given an ageing Sony Alpha 100 by my Granddad (which I still take everywhere with me after all these years)

I was fascinated with the angles and perspectives photography had to offer, primarily from seeing my Dad's work and the stunning perspectives he was able to capture. When I was gifted an old family camcorder, I knew that film and the endless possibilities the medium had to offer would propel me into a new chapter of my life.

I studied Creative Media Production at 6th Form, then studied it Full-Time at College, learning all about Filming, Editing and Production Techniques. Instead of continuing into University, I decided to take the first steps into looking for jobs within this Industry that I passionately want to pursue. Although there have been quite a few setbacks and missteps along this road, I have always believed in hard work and recently it appears to be paying off, with this company and the opportunities it has afforded me.

So, I guess that's everything. All there is to say now is...
